Pullman Phuket Arcadia is proud to present the “Diversity – HeForShe” Exhibition, a collaboration between local artist Mr. Ritthipong Nupun, showcasing his modern artwork and AccorHotels stance on gender equality. The Resort’s artistic exhibition by Ratthipong is an exemplification of Pullman brand’s signature global art initiative – which promises to bring the design vision of artists and designers around the world to life.

Ritthipong Nupun is a local Phuket talent, who has the heart of a true artist. His personal characteristics are aligned with the Buddhist belief of generosity, which reflects in his pieces. He creates masterpieces with the intension of provoking internal emotions in those admiring the paintings.

The human body and its complicated postures dominate his work with various colours representing their hidden thoughts. While his splatter painting technique and wild style provides the energy. Ritthipong believes his art knows no age, no gender or no limit and he hopes this will resonate with the artistic soul in all of us. It was for this reason he was chosen to help with our latest Artist Playground.
We are delighted to launch our 2nd ‘Artist Playground’ in Phuket – part gallery, part studio but wholly unexpected and inspiring. The Artist Playground is an initiative intended to add elements of local interest, cultural intrigue and visual ingenuity to the hotel’s communal space, said Brett Wilson General Manager.

Our latest Artist playground is aligned with AccorHotels commitment to diversity in the workplace and its support to the HeForShe movement because we believe both women and men are critical to achieving gender equality and promoting women’s empowerment. All profits from this collection will be donated to the UN Women’s organization to take action against sexual harassment.

AccorHotels joined UN Women’s HeForShe solidarity movement as an IMPACT champion. The main goal of this movement is to ensure actions towards gender equality are not only carried out by women but also by men. The IMPACT 10x10x10 program is a three-to-five year pilot effort to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment. It engages key decision makers with 10 governments, 10 corporations and 10 universities around the world driving change from the top.

Our group became a corporation committed to taking game-changing action to achieve gender equality. AccorHotels will work together and in partnership with UN Women to achieve the objectives set.
