Bangkok Airways, Government Savings Bank and iServe Thailand organize Community Health Care Activity for Elderly in Koh Samui
Koh Samui, Suratthani / 2 August 2019 – Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited led by Mr. Sirichai Charoenrath, Advisor – Corporate Social Responsibility (6th from right) together with Ms. Puangtrap Bangphuing, Government Savings Bank’s Lamai Branch Manager – (6th from left) and iServe Thailand organized a community health care activity providing dental treatment and eye examination for elderly under the project so-called “Capacity Building and Wellness Development Program for Senior Citizens” at International School of Tourism (Koh Samui), Surat Thani Rajabhat University. The program also provides participants with knowledge on physical and mental self-care in order to enhance their quality of life.
Bangkok Airways has continually organized CSR projects in Koh Samui with an aim to support local communities and improve quality of life. The airline’s ongoing CSR projects include conservation and restoration of natural resources, for example, “Coconut Trees Planting” and “Samui Saving Water” campaigns, and “Football Clinic for Kids” project which is under youth development program. Bangkok Airways will continue its support and be involved in CSR activities as part of the airline’s core missions.
