Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket Celebrates Solidarity Week 2019

Phuket, Thailand, 17 December 2019 – Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket continues its commitment to help change the lives of society’s most disadvantaged members by celebrating Solidarity Week by AccorHotels. 

Since 2008, Solidarity Week has grown within AccorHotels properties and headquarters around the world. Each year, over the course of a week in December, employees are encouraged to participate in charitable initiatives, providing a practical response to the needs expressed by local organizations.

As a part of this year’s Solidarity Week, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket visited Phuket Sunshine Village, a local charity located in Phuket Town that provides a loving home for children through foster care, to give them a safe place to grow and develop. On Saturday, 14 December 2019, the team donated essential items such as clothing, stationery, kitchen items and household supplies, entertained the children with song performances from Hua Rue Team and provided them with sweet treats.
