“Aqua Eden” La Fete Nationale 2019 at Royal Phawadee Village Patong Phuket

PHUKET: On 14 July 2019, Mr.Claude de Crissey Consul of France in Phuket and Ms.Phawadee de Crissey Managing Director of Crissey Co.,ltd held the French National Day, La Fete National, theme “Aqua Eden” at Royal Phawadee Village Patong Phuket.

La Fete National is the day that French people got liberty, peace and brotherhood from the absolute monarchy. In the past, the people were starving, were exploited and abused. The inequality was the main cause of the protest for overthrow the absolute monarchy and the feudalism.

On 14 July 1789, the people gathered to attack the Bastille by an angry and aggressive. The prison had become a symbol of the monarchy’s dictatorial rule, and the event became one of the defining moments in the Revolution that followed.
