Spice up your life with E-saan cuisine at The Siam Tea Room, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park
Bangkok, Thailand, 22 December 2023 – The Siam Tea Room, the casual café and authentic Thai eatery at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is giving diners the chance to start 2024 with a spicy kick, as it embarks on “E-saan Adventures” to the enchanting northeastern region of Thailand.
Throughout January and February 2024, the talented chefs at The Siam Tea Room will showcase a selection of seven highly authentic E-saan dishes, as part of its regular à la carte menu.
Hotel guests and local residents can drop in for lunch or dinner and share a selection of E-saan hors d’oeuvres (fried sundried pork, fermented pork, chili dip and local vegetables), or savor classic dishes such as som tum tard (spicy papaya salad with fermented fish, steamed pork sausage, grilled chicken wings, boiled egg and rice noodles), larb ped Ubon (Ubon Ratchathani-style spicy minced duck salad, with crispy leaves and seasonal salad), or sua ronghai jim jaew (grilled marinated wagyu beef brisket with spicy jim jaew sauce and seasonal salad).
Diners seeking a warm and comforting meal can opt for tom plah kor bai khayang (spicy & sour fish head soup), or jaewhon moo Kurobuta (rich & spicy hot pot with sliced Kurobuta pork and condiments), and the traditional dessert of khao tom hoa ngok i-tim khati (black sticky rice roll with crispy banana and coconut ice cream) is a wonderful way to end any meal.
