Bangkok, Thailand, 5 January 2024 – Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, the award-winning Cantonese dining destination at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is celebrating the start of 2024 with “Luxurious Lobster,” an exclusive new promotion that showcases the world’s most sublime seafood in a series of creative Cantonese styles.
From 15 th January to 29 th February 2024, hotel guests and local residents are invited to savor three of the world’s finest varieties of lobster: Boston lobster (THB 380 / 100g), Tasmanian lobster (THB 880 / 100g) and Phuket lobster (THB 780 / 100g). These highly auspicious delicacies, which turn bright red when cooked and are thought to resemble dragons – are considered symbols of good fortune in Chinese culture. This makes them the perfect way to mark the start of the “Year of the
Dragon.”
Five delectable dishes have been crafted by Chef Oscar Pun and his talented team, allowing every guest to embark on a personalized culinary journey. Diners can choose from lobster sashimi, which has been carefully prepared to highlight the sweet flavor and succulent texture of the fresh lobster, lobster baked in thickened superior stock, for a rich and rewarding dining experience, or lobster steamed with fragrant garlic and glass noodles, for a vibrant taste sensation.
Alternatively, guests can explore the bold and lively flavors of southwest China’s Sichuan province with Chef Oscar’s heavenly lobster stir-fried with ginger and spring onions and the tantalizing lobster stir-fried with chili and salt. With 45 days to discover these special dishes, lobster fans have plenty of opportunities to return and savor each of these gastronomic delicacies!
The Luxurious Lobster promotion is available from 15 th January to 29 th February 2024, for lunch (11.30-14.30 hrs) and dinner (18.00-22.00 hrs).
