Khao Lak Marriott: Located in Phangnga province, on the Andaman Sea coast in the southern part of Thailand, only 100 kilometers from Phuket International Airport, very convenient to travel, or about 90 minutes by car, comfortable.

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the lobby. The staff are waiting to welcome you and check you in. There are separate counters for Thai and international guests, and the staff are very lovely, friendly, and helpful.

The lobby decoration is spacious and luxurious, with a beautiful distant sea view like a large framed painting. It is decorated in the local style of Takua Pa in the South.

Let’s start with the breakfast restaurant at Goji Kitchen & Bar. The atmosphere is open and spacious, both in the air-conditioned room and on the balcony outside. There is a wide variety of food, both Thai and international. I can say in one word that it is overwhelming, the best of the best. The taste is delicious in every menu. It changes daily. For Thai people, I must say there is Khanom Chin with Phangnga style curry. It’s spicy. There are chefs walking around checking the food lines, talking to customers. The staff are always smiling.

I was impressed with the cold-pressed fruit juices. There are all kinds of fruits for health, and there are coffee machines everywhere, and the coffee is delicious too. Excellent.

During the day, there are drink bars until late, with up to 7 locations in the hotel.

If you want to taste authentic Thai flavors, you must go to this restaurant, Thai Curry Sala, which is right next door. And there are all kinds of grilled seafood. The best fresh seafood every day from the fishermen. When you come to Phangnga, you must eat fish.

Just the name tells you that this place focuses on Thai curry paste. The taste of the South is satisfying.

I walked on and saw the name Thai Baking Company. As a lover of Thai desserts, I couldn’t miss it. I had to try it.

Thai desserts such as Khanom Krok, Roti, or special recipe fried bananas are located in front of the beach, near the swimming pool, which children will love.

If you don’t go anywhere, this bar should not be missed, Greatroom & Bar. Chill with all kinds of drinks. Come here during the day, and the atmosphere in the evening is a different feeling.

There is another restaurant, Panasia Grill, the signature restaurant on the top floor of the hotel. It is beautifully decorated with a view. Standing on the balcony watching the sunset, the view is very beautiful, like another large picture frame. This place focuses on premium grilled dishes with good wines. There are many to choose from. The bar area on this floor is beautiful in another style.

If you want a restaurant with a seaside atmosphere, Lido Beach Club serves Mediterranean and Italian food. I like it very much. It is beautifully decorated with large palm leaves on the dining tables, arranged with fresh flowers, beautiful, soft, and warm, with a romantic atmosphere. Couples and honeymooners should definitely come.

In the morning or afternoon, you must come and swim in the large pool. The white and blue striped lounge chairs and large umbrellas are beautifully arranged.

The counter by the pool with food and drink menus at the Pool Bar is available all day.

Let’s look at the rooms. The beds and pillows are very comfortable to sleep on. The room is clean and fully equipped with a TV, refrigerator, in-room bar, bathroom amenities, hairdryer, iron, Wi-Fi, and touch-sensitive electrical system, truly up to Marriott standards.

Let’s look at the garden and the path to the beach. The lawn is beautiful, the trees and flowers are clean and beautiful.

And I found a water play area for children. In this area, there are fish sculptures that spray water and a water bucket hanging above. When it’s full, it pours down (splash). This area is a children’s paradise.

Let’s look at the hotel facilities: restaurants, fitness center, Quan Spa (available at all Marriott properties), large outdoor pool, hot tub, and children’s Playroom. There are also rooms for meetings and inter-provincial shuttle vans. It’s really convenient.
