Thale Noi Waterbird Park Thale Noi, Phatthalung
One of the interesting places to go and relax in Phatthalung Lay Noi or Thale Noi Bird Park is a large freshwater lake located in Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung Province.
It is a place rich in both plant species. and wildlife, including aquatic animals and birds such as local waterfowl and migratory birds. Hundreds of species live together here for bird enthusiasts. There is also a a high viewing tower at the Thale Noi Nature and Wildlife Education Center
The site has so much biodiversity that it was declared Thailand’s first non-hunting area. This famous place is a vast lake covered with pink lotus flowers that bloom all over.
The highlight is a boat trip to see the red lotus fields known as the Lan Bua Sea. One can see the water buffalo and other land and aquatic animals up close. Boats can be rented here.
Open every day from 05.00am. to 9.90pm. Tourists can experience the nature of Talay Noi up close by visiting the homestay in the middle of the lake. Reservations can be made on the national park website.
