The festivities start on 24th December with an unforgettable “Christmas Eve Dinner” (from 19.00 hrs, THB 2,200++ per person*) at Black Ginger, the mesmerising Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant which appears to float above a reflective lagoon. Having arrived by raft, diners will be treated to a truly breath-taking buffet of succulent roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham and other seasonal classics, accompanied by fine Thai cuisine and ancient local recipes, all presented in an elegant Thai mansion, perched over the water and surrounded by lush jungle.
Then on 25th December, the focus switches to the Tin Mine, The Slate’s stylish, industrial-inspired restaurant, which sets the stage for a “Merry Christmas Brunch” (12.00-15.00 hrs, THB 2,450++ per person*). Guests and local residents are invited to gather their loved ones for an energising epicurean event featuring a plethora of premium ingredients, such as Canadian lobster, imported oysters, hand-cut sushi and sashimi, ocean-fresh seafood on ice, prime Australian wagyu beef and much more! Then on 31st December, The Slate invites everyone to leave the challenges of 2021 far behind and raise a glass to brighter days ahead, with chic social soirées and a choice of gastronomic gatherings. As the sun sets over Phuket for the final time this year, all guests are invited to the Snake Skin Pool for the “New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party” (19.00-20.00 hrs). Sip, chat and say cheers with fellow revellers before embarking on a fantastic feast at a choice of exceptional venues…
Black Ginger will escort diners back in time to an enchanting and authentic era of Thai heritage this New Year’s Eve. As the sun sets above this ancient Thai house and the sounds of the forest echo through the air, epicurean explorers will be treated to a “Gala Dinner” (from 20.00 hrs, THB 3,500++ per person*) that highlights the contrasting flavours of Thai and international gastronomy, accompanied by a moving and mysterious Thai performance.
Alternatively at Rivet, diners can sit back and savour a “New Year’s Eve Dinner” (from 20.00 hrs, THB 2,500++ per person*) filled with the finest international fare in a soothing poolside setting. Set to a backdrop of blissful beats and romantic grooves, this exquisite evening will let every guest while away the final hours of 2021 in an ambience of amore, surrounded by the people they care about the most.
All revellers can then reconnect with each other at the Coliseum Garden Top Tier & Rebar (from 23.00 hrs), with a glamorous “After Party”! Sip cool drinks and dance the night away on the sparkly floor as DJ Michael spins upbeat tunes, then countdown to midnight in the company of your most cherished friends and family.
