Patong’s major mall joins hands with leading brands to ride surge in visitors with campaign featuring discounts up to 50%

“Since Jungceylon Shopping Center, the major mall in downtown Patong, and one of the biggest in Phuket, returned to service in the first phase in December 2022, the Patong’s major mall has continuously carried out marketing activities to support purchasing power recovery and encourage spending among tourists visiting Jungceylon which has increased by over 200% compared to the COVID-19 period,” reveals Mr. Prawit Janyasittikul, Chief Executive Officer, Jungceylon. “It is expected that during this upcoming summer and Songkran festival, the number of tourists visiting Phuket will increase, resulting in a lively shopping atmosphere.”

For instance, customers shopping with VISA can get a free 100-baht Starbuck card with every spending of 1,000 baht. MasterCard holder spending every 3,000 baht up will receive a T-Shirt. As a welcome gift for the return of Chinese tourists, Jungceylon has partnered with Alipay to offer a special program ‘Red Packet’, receive a packet up to 50 yuan when making online payments via Alipay.
