Hungry Hub will expand into Singapore, its first international market, come December 2024

Hungry Hub, Thailand’s leading online restaurant and hotel reservation platform, is set to host its inaugural “Hungry Hub Red Table Awards 2024” while announcing a strategic partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). This collaboration aims to expand Hungry Hub’s services internationally and spotlight how Singapore’s vibrant, wide-ranging and innovative gastronomic landscape caters to discerning food enthusiasts and travelers.

Inaugural Hungry Hub Red Table Awards 2024

The “Hungry Hub Red Table Awards 2024” marks a new era in recognizing culinary excellence and service innovation. This prestigious event will honor top restaurant and hotel partners for their outstanding contributions throughout the year, featuring over 35 awards across eight specialized categories.

The awards ceremony, one of Hungry Hub’s grandest events to date, will showcase excellence in various facets of the culinary and hospitality sectors, including:

  • Best Buffet Restaurant for chains maintaining the highest consistent standards
  • Best Rooftop for superior dining experiences with exceptional views
  • Best Fine Dining celebrating luxury and attention to detail
  • Rising Star Awards for new partners showing outstanding growth and potential

The selection process utilizes a comprehensive, data-driven evaluation framework, incorporating insights from over 4 million customer reservations processed through the Hungry Hub platform during the previous year. With a nomination pool of more than 50 restaurant and hotel partners, the awards reflect authentic user engagement and satisfaction.

Notable award winners include Copper Beyond Buffet, Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok, and Audrey Café. The event has attracted over 300 leading restaurant and hotel partners, including Oishi Group restaurants, Rib Room & Bar, Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, and Jim Thompson, A Thai Restaurant.

Strategic Partnership with Singapore Tourism Board

In a significant move towards global expansion, Hungry Hub has announced a strategic partnership with the STB.

This collaboration aims to leverage Singapore’s diverse food scene to attract Thai and Malaysian visitors, as part of a recently-launched F&B campaign to showcase Singapore as a global culinary capital

Hungry Hub will offer curated dining experiences at a range of acclaimed restaurants in Singapore starting December 2024. App users will be able to purchase fixed-price meal packages on the app at select restaurants in Singapore, allowing them to browse and choose what they want from pre-selected menus.

Under the partnership, STB and Hungry Hub will launch joint marketing campaigns to promote F&B experiences in Singapore through social media. STB and Hungry Hub will also engage foodie influencers to visit Singapore and create content around these experiences, while also including attractions, retail and leisure events as part of their itineraries, to further inspire more audiences to discover destination Singapore.

With over 30,000 regular Singaporean users already using Hungry Hub in Thailand, the company is well-positioned for its expansion into Singapore. Riding on this expansion, Hungry Hub aims to attract Thai and Malaysian tourists by offering value-for-money dining experiences in Singapore.

Hungry Hub’s expansion demonstrates its commitment to the international stage, having generated over 3 billion THB in revenue for partner restaurants, served more than 1 million monthly users, and accumulated over 4 million diners at a recent average of 1,000 baht per diner. The company aims to grow its Thai user base by 50% in 2025 while expanding internationally. Individual restaurants have achieved up to 250 million THB in annual revenue, while top customers, through Hungry Hub, made over 85 bookings in 2024, spending up to 350,000 THB.
